Jade Binks

Hi, I’m Jade, the proud owner of Leeds Canine Hydrotherapy. My passion for animal care led me to complete a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management, followed by a Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals at Hawksmoor in 2010—yes, that long ago!

I began my hydrotherapy career in 2009, working at several centres across Yorkshire, gaining invaluable experience along the way. In 2023, I took the leap and built my own centre—a dream come true! Every day, I feel so grateful to work with incredible dogs and their wonderful owners. I truly have the best customers and absolutely adore what I do. To ensure I continue providing the highest level of care, I’m currently working towards my Level 4 Certificate in Hydrotherapy. My goal is to keep learning and expanding my expertise so I can offer the very best for every dog that walks through our doors.

Ashleigh Smith

Hi, I’m Ashleigh! I’m currently studying for my Level 4 in Canine Hydrotherapy and if thats not enough I am also studying my Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour, building on my lifelong passion for working with animals.

My background spans a variety of settings including zoos, veterinary centres, and specialist veterinary orthopaedics. During my time in orthopaedics, I worked closely with veterinary surgeons, assisting in the treatment and rehabilitation of dogs recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries.

I have a particular interest in canine behaviour, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Leeds Canine Hydrotherapy team where I can continue supporting dogs on their journey to recovery and promoting their overall wellbeing

Amy Hallahan

Hi I’m Amy, I’m currently studying for my Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation. I’ve always wanted to work with animals, and I’ve spent time volunteering in a range of veterinary hospitals and animal husbandry organisations. I love spending time with the dogs at the centre and giving them lots of cuddles!

Hi, I’m Frankie, I’ve been a canine hydrotherapist for 12 years and hold a Level 3 qualification. I’m also K Laser qualified and have a strong interest in treating arthritic patients and pain management, which I’ve continued to develop through various courses and online lectures. Before moving into rehabilitation, I worked as a veterinary nurse for 15 years. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking up a mountain (regretting it most of the way up until I reach the top!) at music events, or out walking dogs with friends and family.
